1. Warranty Period — Duration by Purchase Type
The warranty period for your ārāma product is determined by the purchase price relative to the manufacturer's recommended retail price (MRP) and the type of purchase:

2. What is Covered
- Manufacturing Defects: Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use conditions
- Mechanical Components: Roller mechanism, massage track, motor, actuators and moving parts
- Electrical Components: Control board, wiring harness, power supply under normal use
- Air System: Air pumps, solenoid valves and airbag failures arising from manufacturing defects
- Remote Control: Remote malfunction due to manufacturing defect (not physical damage)
3. What is NOT Covered
- Physical damage — scratches, dents, cracks, broken parts from dropping or mishandling
- Liquid damage of any kind — spills, moisture, flooding
- Damage from use beyond rated weight capacity
- Damage from voltage fluctuations, lightning strikes or improper power supply
- Normal wear and tear — upholstery fading, leather cracking from age or UV, foam compression
- Damage from improper installation, modification or unauthorised repair
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Consumable items: upholstery covers, massage socks, cushion foam
- Commercial wear — damage resulting from daily multi-user commercial operation
- Loss or damage during transportation after delivery
4. Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim:
- Step 1: Register your product on this page (if not already done)
- Step 2: Contact ārāma support via email support@arama.asia or WhatsApp +91 7090090100
- Step 3: Provide: registered mobile number, product serial number, invoice number and description of fault
- Step 4: Our service team will assess the claim and schedule a visit or arrange part replacement
- Step 5: Approved warranty repairs are performed at no charge
5. Warranty Transferability
Standard ārāma warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original registered purchaser. Second-hand buyers may register for a separate 2-year warranty (extendable to 5 years) as a new owner registration — subject to inspection and fee.
6. Warranty Extension
All ārāma warranty periods (including 2nd hand registrations) are extendable. Contact support@arama.asia for extension pricing before your current warranty expires. Extensions must be purchased before warranty expiry — extensions on expired warranties are not available.
7. Commercial Use — AMC Policy
Products deployed for commercial purposes (pay-and-use lounges, hotel lobbies, corporate offices with 10+ daily sessions, gyms, spas) are not eligible for standard consumer warranty. Commercial customers must purchase an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC). See the AMC section below for plans and pricing. Commercial use without AMC voids all warranty and service eligibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
ārāma's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or part at ārāma's sole discretion. ārāma is not liable for incidental, consequential or indirect damages including loss of use, loss of revenue or personal injury arising from product use or failure. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
9. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of India. All disputes arising under this warranty shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For consumer disputes, the Consumer Protection Act 2019 applies.

📋 Registration Basics
How do I register my ārāma product for warranty?+
Fill the warranty registration form on this page — it takes 3 minutes. You need your product model, serial number, invoice number, purchase date, purchase price and contact details. Submit the form and you will receive a warranty certificate at support@arama.asia within 2–3 working days.
Is warranty registration mandatory?+
Warranty registration is not mandatory to use your product, but it is mandatory to claim warranty service. Unregistered products face delays or rejection of warranty claims. We strongly recommend registering within 30 days of purchase — it is free and takes just 3 minutes.
What is the deadline to register my product?+
Products should be registered within 90 days of purchase to activate full warranty coverage. Late registrations (90–180 days) may be accepted with reduced warranty period. Registrations after 180 days are subject to inspection and may not be eligible for full warranty. Register early — it's free.
What documents do I need for registration?+
You need: (1) Original purchase invoice or order confirmation with purchase amount. (2) Product serial number from the label on the back or base of the product. (3) Your full name, mobile number, email and installation addresss. Keep your invoice safe — you will need it for any future warranty claims.
How do I find my product's serial number?+
The serial number is printed on a sticker or metal plate on the back or underside of your massage chair. For portable devices (eye massager, gun massager, scalp massager), check the back panel or the box packaging. Common ārāma model codes include A337-2 (Breeze/Bliss) and A306-8 (Serenity/Oasis/Aura). WhatsApp us a photo and we can identify your model.
Will I receive a warranty certificate?+
Yes. After successful registration, ārāma will email you a digital warranty certificate within 2–3 working days. This certificate includes your registration ID, product details, warranty start and end dates. Save this certificate — it is required when making a warranty claim.
🛡️ Warranty Period & Calculation
How long is the warranty on ārāma products?+
Products purchased at full MRP receive 5 years warranty. Products purchased below MRP receive proportionally reduced warranty: up to 5% below MRP = 4.5 years; 6–10% below = 4 years; 11–20% below = 3 years; 21–30% below = 2 years; more than 30% below = 1 year. Second-hand or refurbished products = 2 years (extendable to 5 years). Commercial use = AMC only.
Why does the discount affect my warranty period?+
ārāma's warranty is funded from product margins. Deep discounts below MRP reduce the margin available to fund after-sales service. The proportional warranty model ensures that the warranty period is always fair — customers who pay closer to MRP get more coverage, while those who purchase at heavy discounts still receive meaningful protection. This model is fully transparent and disclosed at time of sale.
I bought my chair at a discount — how do I know my exact warranty period?+
Use the Warranty Calculator on this page — select your purchase type and it will show your warranty period instantly. Alternatively, email support@arama.asia with your invoice and purchase amount — we will confirm your exact warranty end date within 24 hours.
Can I extend my warranty?+
Yes. All ārāma warranty periods are extendable — including second-hand registrations which start at 2 years and can be extended to 5 years. Warranty extensions must be purchased before the current warranty expires. Contact support@arama.asia for current extension pricing. Extensions on already-expired warranties are not available.
I have a second-hand ārāma chair — can I get warranty?+
Yes. Second-hand and refurbished ārāma chairs are eligible for a 2-year warranty registration by the new owner — starting from the date of new-owner registration. This is extendable to 5 years. An inspection may be required before registration is confirmed. Email support@arama.asia with the chair model, your purchase details and photos of the product.
Does the warranty cover all parts of the chair?+
The warranty covers mechanical defects in the roller mechanism, motors, actuators, air pump, solenoid valves, control board, wiring and remote control. It does NOT cover upholstery wear, leather fading, foam compression, cosmetic damage, or parts damaged by physical impact, liquid or voltage spikes. See the full terms above.

How do I make a warranty claim?+
Email support@arama.asia or WhatsApp +91 7090090100 with your warranty registration ID, product serial number, purchase invoice and description of the fault. Our team will assess the claim within 24 hours and schedule a service visit. Approved warranty repairs are performed at no charge including parts and labour.
How long does a warranty claim take to resolve?+
Simple repairs are completed in 1–2 visits within 5–7 working days. If parts need to be sourced, resolution may take 10–14 working days. ārāma's service team will keep you informed of progress at each stage. My warranty claim was rejected — what can I do?+
If your warranty claim is rejected, you will receive a written explanation. If you disagree with the rejection, you can: (1) Request a second inspection. (2) Email support@arama.asia with subject "WARRANTY DISPUTE — [Registration ID]". (3) Under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, you may file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. ārāma resolves all disputes in good faith.
Is the warranty valid if I move to another city?+
Yes, the warranty is valid pan-India regardless of your current city. Update your registered addresss by emailing support@arama.asia with your registration ID and new addresss. Service availability may vary by city — for some remote locations, we offer guided remote support and parts dispatch rather than an in-home visit.
What happens after my warranty expires?+
After warranty expiry, ārāma continues to provide full repair and maintenance services at competitive paid rates. You can also purchase an extended warranty or AMC before expiry to continue coverage. Our team services all ārāma models regardless of warranty status — your investment is supported for the entire lifespan of the product.
The product was damaged during delivery — is that covered?+
Delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Do not register the product — email support@arama.asia with photos of the damage and packaging immediately. Delivery damage is handled as a replacement or repair claim separately from warranty. Do not sign the delivery receipt if visible damage is present — note the damage on the delivery challan.
🏢 Commercial Use & AMC
What counts as "commercial use" for warranty purposes?+
Commercial use includes any deployment where the massage chair is used by multiple people in a business context: pay-and-use lounges, hotel lobbies, airport lounges, gym floors, physiotherapy clinics with patient use, corporate office shared chairs and spa facilities. Products used in these settings undergo significantly more wear than home use and require AMC-based coverage rather than standard consumer warranty.
I use the chair at home but many family members use it — is that commercial?+
Family home use with 3–5 people using the chair daily is classified as residential use — standard warranty applies. Commercial classification applies only when the chair is deployed in a business setting or used by 10+ different users per day in a public/shared space. If you are unsure, email support@arama.asia — we will guide you to the correct registration type.
What does the AMC include?+
AMC plans include scheduled service visits (frequency depends on plan tier), priority response times, parts at cost price (some plans include parts), dedicated service engineer, and performance reports. AMC is available in Basic, Standard and Premium tiers — priced by number of units and usage intensity. Email support@arama.asia for a custom AMC quote.
Can I switch from consumer warranty to AMC?+
Yes. If your usage pattern changes from home use to commercial use (e.g. you open a business with the chair), you can transition to an AMC at any point. The remaining consumer warranty period will be credited towards your AMC fee. Contact support@arama.asia to arrange the transition.
🔄 Warranty Transfer & Resale
Can I transfer my warranty to a new owner if I sell my chair?+
Standard ārāma warranty is non-transferable from the original registered owner. The new owner must register a second-hand warranty (2 years, extendable to 5 years) independently. When selling your chair, inform the buyer that they can register at arama.asia/warranty-registration for their own coverage.
I lost my original invoice — can I still register?+
Email support@arama.asia with your name, mobile number, approximate purchase date and product model. We will attempt to trace your order in our system. If found, we will process your registration. If not found, registration may not be possible without proof of purchase — this is why we recommend registering immediately after purchase while your invoice is available.
Can I update my addresss or contact details on my warranty registration?+
Yes. Email support@arama.asia with your warranty registration ID and the updated details (new addresss, new mobile or new email). Updates are processed within 2–3 working days. Keeping your details current ensures service teams can reach you and visit the correct addresss.
💡 General Warranty Questions
Does ārāma offer warranty on portable massagers?+
Yes. Portable massagers (eye massager, gun massager, scalp massager, TENS massager, knee massager, neck massager) are covered under warranty. The same purchase-price-based warranty period applies. For portable devices, the warranty typically covers manufacturing defects in the motor, electrical components and body — not physical damage or accessories like gel pads or massage heads.
Does the warranty cover the upholstery and leather?+
Upholstery (leather covers, cushion foam, massage socks on leg massagers) is not covered under warranty as it is a consumable item subject to normal wear and tear. However, if the upholstery peels or cracks within the first 6 months of purchase from normal use, it may be considered a manufacturing defect — contact support@arama.asia with photos for assessment.
What is the difference between warranty and AMC?+
Warranty is a manufacturer's guarantee against defects in new products under normal use — reactive (you claim when something fails). AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) is a proactive service agreement — it includes scheduled preventive visits, priority response, and covers both defect repair and maintenance. AMC is mandatory for commercial use and optional (but recommended) for heavy home use beyond the warranty period.
My product has a fault within the first 30 days — what do I do?+
A fault within 30 days of purchase is treated as a Dead on Arrival (DOA) / Early Life Failure. Email support@arama.asia immediately with photos/video of the fault, your invoice and delivery details. DOA cases receive priority resolution — typically replacement or urgent repair within 5–7 working days. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself as this voids the DOA claim.
