Service & Warranty Policy — Please Read

Warranty coverage: ārāma product warranty applies to manufacturing defects only — issues arising from normal production or component failure. Physical damage, misuse, wear and tear, and damage from improper power supply are not covered under warranty.

Visiting charges: Service visits to locations outside Bengaluru may incur travel and stay charges. These charges apply where the product was purchased at a discounted price below MRP. Products purchased at full MRP are eligible for standard service terms. Our team will inform you of any applicable charges before confirming the visit.

Massage Mechanism

Rollers · Bearings · Belts

Massage Roller Bearings

The bearing set that allows the roller mechanism to glide smoothly up and down the massage track. When worn, you will hear a grinding or clicking sound from inside the chair back during a session.

Foot Roller Timer Belt

The drive belt that powers the rotating rollers in the foot and calf section. Wears out over extended use. Replace when foot rollers stop spinning, spin unevenly, or make a slapping noise.

Shoulder Roller Bearing

Bearing specific to the upper shoulder roller assembly. Replace when shoulder massage feels rough, inconsistent or produces unusual sounds at the top of the track.

Foot Adjustment Pulley Set

Controls the extension and retraction of the footrest section. Replace when the footrest becomes difficult to adjust, stiff or stops responding to controls.

Air Pressure System

Pumps · Airbags · Valves

Air Pump

Generates compressed air to inflate the airbags throughout the chair body. Replace when airbags stop inflating, inflate weakly, or air pressure is noticeably reduced during a session.

Rubber Diaphragm for Air Pump

Internal membrane inside the pump that creates suction and pressure. Replace when the pump motor runs but produces little or no air output.

Solenoid Valve

An electrically controlled valve that directs compressed air to specific airbag zones — arms, calves, shoulders, hips. Replace when one body zone inflates correctly but another does not respond at all.

Full Airbag Set

A complete set of all airbags inside the chair. Replace when airbags show visible tears, leaks or fail to hold pressure during a session. A chair with failing airbags provides little to no compression therapy.

Mechanical & Electrical

Motors · Actuators · Controls

Recliner Motor Actuator

The motorised linear actuator that reclines the chair backrest. Replace when the chair does not recline, gets stuck mid-position, or makes a straining motor sound when reclining.

Footrest Motor Actuator

Controls the extension and retraction of the footrest leg section. Replace when the footrest does not extend, retracts on its own, or makes grinding sounds during adjustment.

Remote Control & Handset

The handheld controller used to operate the chair. Replace when buttons stop responding, the screen is damaged, or the connection wire between remote and chair is broken.

Power & Connection Wiring

Internal and external wiring including power cables and inter-component connectors. Replace when the chair powers off unexpectedly, shows intermittent faults, or has visible wire damage.

Upholstery & Covers

Cushions · Socks · Sleeves

Full Upholstery Set

Complete cushion and leather cover set for the chair — headrest, backrest, arm panels and calf/foot section. Replace when the leather is cracked, torn or discoloured.

Individual Cushion Covers

Single replacement covers for any specific section of the chair. Ideal when only one area needs replacing without a full upholstery change.

Calf, Foot & Thigh Sleeve Set

Fabric sleeves used in leg massagers that wrap around the calf and foot area. Includes heating element fabric. Replace when sleeves are torn, worn or the heating function stops working in a specific zone.

Proactive Care

Keep Your Chair in
Peak Condition

Simple care habits extend your chair's life by years and prevent 80% of common issues.

  • Weekly Cleaning

Wipe upholstery with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use alcohol-based cleaners or abrasive sponges — they dry out and crack the leather. A dry microfibre cloth is ideal.

  • Temperature & Placement

Place your chair away from direct sunlight and extreme heat. Sunlight causes leather to fade and crack. Maintain room temperature — avoid damp, humid spaces for electrical longevity.

  • Power Care

Always plug into a properly earthed 3-pin socket. Use a surge protector to prevent voltage spikes. Switch off at the main socket when not in use for extended periods — do not leave on standby overnight.

  • Weight & Usage

Observe the maximum weight rating (typically 120–150 kg). Do not allow children to jump on the chair. Use session durations recommended in the manual — generally 15–30 minutes per session.

  • Annual Service

Book an ārāma annual maintenance check-up once every 12 months. Our engineer inspects airbags, belts, rollers, actuators and electrical connections — catching issues before they become costly repairs.

  • Register Your Warranty

An unregistered product cannot claim warranty service. Register your ārāma product immediately after purchase — it takes 2 minutes and protects your investment fully.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything You Need to Know About
ārāma Service & Maintenance

Can't find your answer? WhatsApp us on +91 73833 34456 or email enquiry@arama.asia

📅 Scheduling & Booking

How do I schedule a maintenance visit for my ārāma massage chair?

Fill the service request form on this page — it takes 90 seconds. Select your product, describe the issue and submit. Our team will WhatsApp or call you within 24 hours to confirm a visit date. For urgent issues, WhatsApp us directly on +91 73833 34456 — we respond within 2 hours during business hours.

How long will a service visit take?

A routine maintenance check-up takes 1–2 hours. If repair work is needed on-site (belt replacement, pump change, airbag fix), it can take 2–3 hours. If specific parts need to be ordered and delivered, our engineer completes the diagnosis on the first visit and returns to install parts once they arrive — typically within 3–7 working days.

Is there a service charge for a maintenance visit?

For products under active warranty, service visits are covered at no charge for warranty-eligible issues. For out-of-warranty products or non-warranty repairs, a visit charge applies — our team will communicate this clearly before confirming the visit. Parts costs are separate. Email enquiry@arama.asia for a quote.

Do you offer service across all cities in India?

We offer pan-India service coverage, with priority service in cities where ārāma Relax Lounges operate — Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Surat, Davanagere and more. For remote cities, we provide guided remote support via WhatsApp video call, and in most cases can ship replacement parts directly to you for self-installation with our guidance.

How often should I schedule a routine maintenance check?

We recommend an annual maintenance check for home-use massage chairs. For commercial/lounge use (daily sessions), a check every 6 months is advisable. Annual servicing includes inspection of airbags, rollers, belts, electrical connections and upholstery — preventing 80% of common issues before they occur.

🛡️ Warranty & Coverage

What is covered under the ārāma product warranty?

ārāma warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — including mechanical failures, motor issues, control board faults and airbag defects that arise from normal use. Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, liquid damage or wear-and-tear items like upholstery. Visit ārāma Warranty Terms for full details.

How do I register my ārāma product for warranty?

Visit arama.asia/warranty-registration and fill the registration form with your product model, serial number and purchase date. You will need your original purchase invoice. Register immediately after purchase — unregistered products may face delays in warranty processing.

My warranty has expired — can I still get repairs done?

Yes, absolutely. ārāma provides full after-warranty repair services at competitive rates. Our engineers service all ārāma models regardless of warranty status. Out-of-warranty repairs are charged based on parts + labour. WhatsApp +91 73833 34456 with your model and issue for a repair estimate.

I bought a second-hand ārāma chair — can I claim warranty?

ārāma warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. If you have purchased a second-hand ārāma chair, warranty service is not available — but paid repair and maintenance services are fully available to you. Email enquiry@arama.asia with your chair model to arrange a service visit.

What documents do I need for a warranty repair claim?

You will need: (1) Original purchase invoice showing product name, date and price. (2) Proof of warranty registration. (3) Product serial number — found on a label at the back or base of the chair. Having these ready speeds up the claim process significantly. If you have lost your invoice, contact enquiry@arama.asia — we may be able to trace your purchase.

🔧 Common Faults & Diagnosis

My massage chair is not turning on at all — what should I check?

Check these in order: (1) Is the power cord firmly plugged into a working 3-pin earthed socket? (2) Is the socket switched on? Test with another device. (3) Is there a safety fuse at the chair's main plug — check and replace if blown. (4) Check the ON/OFF switch on the chair body — some models have a hidden rocker switch at the back. If none of these resolve it, the main control board or power supply may have failed. Submit a repair request via the form above.

One or more airbags are not inflating — what's wrong?

Airbag failure can have three causes: (1) Air pump failure — the pump that pressurises the system has worn out (most common after 2–3 years of heavy use). (2) Solenoid valve failure — the valve that directs air to specific airbags has stuck or failed. (3) Airbag puncture — the airbag itself has a small tear. WhatsApp a video of the issue to +91 73833 34456 — we stock WP36D-24N and WP40D-24 pumps plus SX030-1L solenoid valves for quick dispatch.

The massage rollers are making a grinding or clicking noise.

Stop using the chair immediately — continuing with this fault can damage the roller mechanism further. Grinding usually indicates worn roller bearings or a loose/damaged timer belt. Clicking may indicate a loose roller housing or debris in the track. Do not attempt to force the rollers. Submit a repair request — our engineers carry roller bearings and 51T-102XL timer belts for A337-2 models and equivalent parts for A306-8.

My chair is reclining on one side but not the other — is that fixable?

Yes, this is a common and fully repairable issue. Most massage chairs use two actuator motors for reclining — one on each side. If one side stops working, the actuator (DDG24-400/250-2 for A337-2 or DDG24-545/330-H-Z for A306-8) has likely failed. We stock these parts and our engineers can replace an actuator in a single visit. Do not force the chair to recline as this stresses the frame.

The footrest is not extending or retracting properly.

The footrest is controlled by a separate actuator motor (DDG24-240/95-2 for A337-2 or DDG24-248/100-H for A306-8). If it moves jerkily or not at all, the actuator or its wiring connection has likely failed. In some cases, the footrest adjustment pulley (available for A306-8) may be the culprit. Do not force the footrest mechanism. Submit a repair request with your model number and we will bring the correct part.

The heat function in my chair is not working.

Heat elements are typically built into the back and lumbar upholstery cushions. If heat is not working: (1) Confirm it is enabled on the remote — it is often a separate toggle. (2) Check the wiring connection between the cushion and the chair body. (3) The heating element inside the cushion may have failed. We stock upholstery sets with integrated heaters for A337-2 (BeigeBlue/KhakhiBrown/BrownGrey) and A306-8 (Red/Black/Brown) models.

My remote control screen is blank or buttons are not responding.

First, check the cable connecting the remote to the chair — ensure it is firmly clicked into both ends. If the screen is blank, the remote itself or the control wire may have failed. We stock remotes and wiring sets for all ārāma massage chair models. Email enquiry@arama.asia with your model number and we will confirm availability and price.

My leg massager (C30 / TEO-TIER) airbags have stopped inflating.

For C30 / TEO-TIER leg massagers, airbag failure is usually caused by the air pump wearing out — this is the most common C30 service issue. We stock C30 air pump sets and full airbag replacement sets for immediate dispatch. If the airbags are deflating mid-session rather than not inflating at all, the airbag fabric may have a small puncture. Contact us on +91 73833 34456 with a video of the issue.

📦 Spare Parts & Components

How do I find out which spare part I need?

The easiest way is to WhatsApp a video of the fault to +91 73833 34456. Our engineers can identify the faulty part from a video in most cases. Alternatively, describe the issue clearly in an email to enquiry@arama.asia with your chair model number (found on the label at the back of the chair) and we will advise the exact part needed.

Are ārāma spare parts available for all models?

We maintain stock of spare parts for A337-2 (Breeze/Bliss), A306-8 (Serenity/Aura/Oasis) and C30 (TEO-TIER leg massager) — covering pumps, airbags, upholstery sets, actuators, solenoid valves, timer belts, roller bearings, remotes, wiring and control boards. For older or discontinued models, parts availability may vary — contact us and we will check stock or source the part for you.

How long does it take to receive spare parts?

Parts that are in stock at our Bengaluru service centre are dispatched within 1–2 working days and typically arrive in 3–5 working days across most Indian cities. For parts that need to be sourced, delivery is 7–14 working days. Our team will give you a clear delivery timeline when you place the parts enquiry.

Can I replace parts myself or do I need a technician?

Simple parts like remote controls, upholstery cushion covers and calf/foot socks (C30 model) can be replaced by the customer at home — we provide video guidance via WhatsApp. Mechanical parts like actuators, pumps, control boards and airbag sets should be replaced by a trained ārāma engineer to avoid voiding warranty and to ensure safe operation. We always recommend professional installation for electrical components.

My upholstery / leather cover is cracked or torn — can it be replaced?

Yes. We stock full upholstery sets for A337-2 (Pillow, Full Back, Hand, Calf & Foot cushions — in BeigeBlue, KhakhiBrown, BrownGrey) and A306-8 (in Red, Black, Brown). These include integrated heating elements. Cushion cover replacement restores your chair's appearance completely and is one of the most common cosmetic repairs we perform. Contact us for pricing and availability for your colour.

Do you stock parts for portable massagers like neck, eye and gun massagers?

For portable massagers, we primarily support charging cables, replacement heads (for gun massagers) and soft covers where applicable. Most portable devices are replaced rather than repaired when faults are detected — if your portable massager is under warranty, we will arrange a replacement unit. Contact enquiry@arama.asia with your model and issue for guidance.

🧹 Chair Care & Maintenance Tips

How should I clean my massage chair leather upholstery?

Use a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth to wipe the upholstery weekly. Never use alcohol-based cleaners, acetone, bleach or abrasive sponges — these dry out and crack the faux leather rapidly. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and dry immediately. Apply a leather conditioner every 3–6 months to keep the material supple and crack-free. Never let moisture sit on the upholstery.

Where should I place my massage chair at home?

Place the chair on a flat, firm surface — avoid soft carpets that may unbalance it. Ensure at least 50cm clearance behind and on both sides for full recline movement. Keep the chair away from direct sunlight (causes leather fading and cracking), damp areas (damages electronics) and heat sources. A dedicated air-conditioned room is ideal for longevity. Do not place the chair directly against a wall — it needs space to fully recline.

How should I handle the power and electrical connections?

Always use a properly earthed 3-pin socket with a surge protector — voltage spikes are the leading cause of control board failures. Never use an extension board with multiple high-power appliances on the same circuit. Switch the chair off at the main socket (not just the remote) when not in use for extended periods. Do not let the power cable run under rugs or furniture — this can damage the insulation over time.

How long should each massage session be?

Most ārāma massage chairs are designed for sessions of 15–30 minutes. Exceeding 30 minutes per session is not recommended — it can cause muscle fatigue and overworks the chair's motors and airbag system. The chair's built-in timer will typically stop the session automatically at 15 or 20 minutes. Allow the chair to rest for at least 30 minutes between consecutive sessions, especially in hot weather.

Can children or elderly people use the massage chair?

Children under 14 should not use a full massage chair unsupervised — the roller pressure and airbag compression are calibrated for adults. Senior citizens can use the chair but should start with the lowest intensity settings and short sessions (10 minutes). Consult a doctor before use if you have osteoporosis, spinal injuries, a pacemaker, blood clotting disorders or have recently had surgery. The chair should not be used by pregnant women.

What is the maximum weight limit for ārāma massage chairs?

Most ārāma massage chairs support a maximum user weight of 120–150 kg, depending on the model. The specific limit is printed on the label at the base of your chair and in your user manual. Exceeding the weight limit damages actuators, the roller mechanism and the chair frame — and voids the warranty. Do not allow children to jump or bounce on the chair.

💬 General Support

How do I find my massage chair's model number?

The model number and serial number are printed on a label located at the back or base of your massage chair — usually near the power input. For ārāma chairs, common models include A337-2 (Breeze/Bliss), A306-8 (Serenity/Aura/Oasis) and C30 (TEO-TIER leg massager). The model name is also printed on the chair's branding panel. Always have this ready when contacting us for service.

Can I get a User Manual for my ārāma massage chair?

If you have misplaced your user manual, email enquiry@arama.asia with your chair model number — we will send you a digital copy via email or WhatsApp. The manual contains the full function guide, safety instructions, maintenance schedule and troubleshooting steps for your specific model.

I purchased my chair from a third-party seller — can I still get ārāma service?

Paid repair and maintenance services are available for all ārāma chairs regardless of where they were purchased. However, warranty claims require proof of purchase from an authorised ārāma dealer. For best service outcomes, always purchase ārāma products directly from arama.asia/shop or an authorised dealer to ensure warranty validity and genuine products.

What is the typical lifespan of an ārāma massage chair?

With proper care and annual maintenance, a premium ārāma massage chair is built to last 8–12 years in home use. Commercial-use chairs (like those in our Relax Lounges, used multiple times daily) are serviced every 6 months and typically last 5–8 years before major refurbishment. Upholstery may need replacement every 3–5 years depending on usage. The mechanical and electrical components have a longer lifespan than the soft furnishings.

How do I escalate if my service request is not resolved?

If your service request has not been responded to within 48 hours, please escalate via these channels: (1) WhatsApp +91 73833 34456 with your original request details. (2) Email enquiry@arama.asia with subject "ESCALATION — [Your Name] — [Model]". (3) Call +91 7090090100. ārāma's commitment is that no service request goes unanswered — we will resolve every escalation personally.
